Meet Verena

Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant

Hallo! I am Verena; I grew up in Austria and now live in Los Angeles with my little growing family. I will soon be a mama of 2 girls.

I have always been passionate about food and holistic health. My life in California and my first pregnancy inspired me to finally start my dream of deepening my Holistic Health & Nutrition knowledge. Over the last few years, I  have become certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach at IIN and a Nutrition Consultant to support Pregnancy, Postpartum, and Baby Nutrition at  Oh Baby School of Nutrition Health.

When my daughter, Balbina, turned 4 months, our pediatrician recommended that I start solids. I was confused, as my research showed that this information was outdated. So, I started trusting in myself and began exploring how, what, and when to start solids. I focused on finding the most nutrition-dense whole foods for our baby, although some have been quite 'unusual' when thinking about baby food. This journey was sometimes confusing, time-consuming, and complex, but it gave me so much joy. During this time, I studied to become a nutrition consultant, specializing in pregnancy, postpartum and baby nutrition. I learned a lot and want to share my learnings, insight, and knowledge to support and inspire you and your family on your baby's journey from milk to solids.
